That little private beach was lovely for sitting down with a book, and Sai Keaw beach is just around the corner for swimming, food, and entertainment. The bungalows are clean and well equipped, set among beautiful gardens. We liked having coffee on the balcony with birds, wind, and waves in the background. It’s a few minutes from Sai Keaw beach and the walking street, and even Nadan pier is within walking distance. Other nice touches were the new TV, quiet aircon, soft towels, clean new bathroom, and kind staff.

The resort feels like a garden, with little modern cabins connected by paths. There’s a small private beach, and a popular snorkeling spot nearby. It’s in a quiet area, only a few minutes’ walk from the main street. My room was simple, but nicely furnished and well kept. The spacious balcony brought in lots of light, and I liked it a lot. The staff were lovely, helped with our requests, and were a big help. I’d recommend staying here.

Construction was going on during our stay. The workmen were digging large holes beside each bungalow for water tanks, which I don’t think is okay during high season. The private beach gets no sun after 2 pm. It might work for snorkeling on calm days, but swimming is very difficult. The room had what you need apart from an outlet by the bed or a night light. There were no power sockets in the bathroom or by the lounge mirror either.

A five-minute walk takes you to a lovely white sand beach, since there isn’t a beach at the resort itself. The room was clean, though very basic, with just one light switch and one electrical outlet. I’ve never seen another 3 star hotel use a padlock on the room door. The mattress was the main problem: a typical hard one with very little give or comfort. The bathroom towels were synthetic and barely absorbed water, while the cotton beach towels they provided worked well.
