This traditional Thai style hotel would suit a backpacker well, and the location is close to the beach. If you want something more Western, it may not be your style. It felt like a modern Thai homestay and met what I needed for my stay. Thank you. There wasn't a clear reception area like the one in other photos. Check-in was handled at a restaurant table, then I was shown the rooms so I could choose one. They also offered me an early check-in, thank you. The room had very good air conditioning, a soft bed, clean towels, complimentary water and coffee, a hairdryer, fridge, in-room safe, umbrellas, shampoo, soap and body wash, a flat-screen TV, and the required Eastern urn kettle.

The room was quiet, with a soft, comfortable mattress that let me sleep very well. The AC gets super cold. Water pressure isn't very strong, but that's normal on the island. There are plenty of room types to choose from. Don't believe anyone until you've tried it yourself.

The beachfront room cost 600 baht the day I went. It was clean, fully equipped, and had ice-cold AC. With the rain and me being drunk, I slept straight through for 12 hours.
