The rooms are basic but clean, and comfortable enough for two. The fan room is usually over 500 a night, but I stayed a few days last week and they were especially kind, charging me 300 a night for the room and 200 a day for the scooter. If you know the island, you’ll see that’s a great deal. Ask with a smile, especially in low season 😉.

A clean, comfortable guest house. I paid 700b for one night with air conditioning and 300b for a day with the scooter. One note: the “gentleman” in the first room on the second floor considers the balcony sun terrace, including its table and chairs, to be “his place.” He keeps books on the table all year, so visitors are expected to stay out of his area.

For 800 baht a night on Ko Samet, this place is very good. It has air conditioning, a comfortable bed and pillows, and everything was very clean. There was hot water, instant coffee, powdered milk and bottled water in the room’s refrigerator. We saw them refill the water heater’s propane tank ourselves. There’s also a little terrace with a table and chairs, and both the town center and beach are just a few minutes away. The look is a bit dated, like several other hotels we stayed in on Ko Samet, but the price felt fair.
