The kitchen did a good job and the food was tasty for a fair price. Service really let it down: the staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested, and nobody came to our table to take orders. A few times we had to walk to reception and order there ourselves. That lack of hospitality made the meal uncomfortable.

The garlic fried fish was a real highlight, and everything else we tried was delicious too. Prices seemed reasonable, the staff paid attention, and this became our favorite restaurant on the beach. This is a review of the restaurant only.

The service was good and so was the location, but the food was very average. They'd run out of oysters. The shrimp were okay, while the garlic bread was underwhelming. The ribs were tough rather than tender, and the fries arrived cold.

The staff were nice, and sitting with your feet in the sand was a cool touch. The cocktails, though, tasted very artificial, and I couldn't finish mine. I've had better ones elsewhere on the beach for less.
