We ate at the restaurant a lot, and the pineapple fried rice was so good. We also tried the floating breakfast one day and loved it. Our room had a private pool, two sunbeds and a bedroom facing the water, so we’d start the morning with a swim. The staff were amazing and service was really quick.

So peaceful and serene here, with scenic spots nearby and none of the crowds. The villa’s private pool was fantastic, and the beach felt closely connected to the resort, just a minute away.

We stayed in a villa with its own pool, and having that space to ourselves was so good that we never used the main pool. The beach is about 200m away. My husband and I came for a break, and it was a lovely way to unwind somewhere quiet, away from the bustle of Chaweng. The staff were so friendly, especially Annie, who made us feel welcome and helped organise things quickly.

I had hidden money in my bag and it never left the room, but 100 euros went missing, 50 first and another 50 two days later. The villa door was always shut. Since it happened twice and the money wasn’t all taken at once, I believe someone with a room key, an employee of the resort, must have been involved. When I asked the manager for help, she was hostile and deceptive from the start and said I was probably lying. She threatened several times to report me for defamation after I told her I didn’t like how she was handling this serious issue. At checkout, when I was already late, she tried to keep me there to report me, putting me at risk of missing my flight. She wouldn’t give me her name or the owner’s, and sent me several threatening WhatsApp messages. I saw other reports on Google and Booking about burglary, theft and fraud at the resort. Some people said they were robbed, others said they were falsely accused of stealing or denied their deposit back. There were also many complaints about the manager’s behaviour with tourists. I can’t verify those reports, but they were there. The room wasn’t very clean, the furniture was old, the restaurant was awful, and we found a lot of insects in the villa. The building’s condition doesn’t justify the high price, and I found the Booking photos deceptive. I’m a doctor and travel a lot, and I’ve never had an experience this bad. Thai people are good and honest, and the rest of the trip here was wonderful. This was the only place in Thailand where we encountered hostility, dishonesty and unfair treatment. Please avoid this tourist trap.
