We hated leaving and would happily return. The calm, laid-back atmosphere suited us, and the guests were friendly but mostly kept to themselves. The beach was wonderful, with warm water, soft sand, plenty of umbrellas and good chairs. You can walk straight in and stay in shallow water for quite a stretch, so we lounged, floated, swam and enjoyed the view. It was nothing like the rocky beach at our Phuket hotel. Our casita gave me and my two adult children a spacious, comfortable place to stay, including a great bathroom. Triple rooms can be hard to find in Thailand, so it worked really well for us. The lush grounds have greenery everywhere, koi ponds and a stream running through them. Restaurant food was good and service top-notch. Phensiri, an outstanding Michelin restaurant, is within walking distance, but book ahead. Downtown is an easy taxi ride away without the noise and partying. The beach massage place a couple of buildings up was phenomenal. This was our favorite of three hotels in Thailand.

We ate at the resort every day of the week because the food was so good, and the beach bar made inviting drinks. Breakfast came with a great buffet as well. Our bungalow was spacious and cozy, and for a small extra fee we could stay in the one at the front, almost right on the beach. The reception team were friendly and helpful from the start. Anavana Beach Resort gave us a lovely beginning to our Thailand holiday, with the kind of Thai hospitality we hoped to experience. Thanks to the whole crew.

The tropical forest feel of the hotel and its lovely beach made our stay special. It’s in a quieter part of Chaweng beach, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Kop khun krap, kop khun kra, dear Anavana Beach Resort, for a wonderful stay last week. We loved being here and would be very happy to return to the hotel and the area. Greetings from Switzerland!

Waking up to waves and watching the sunrise from our terrace was bliss. Our accommodation was spacious and elegant, with a beautiful sea view that made each morning feel special. The beach is just steps away, peaceful and clean, and was lovely for a swim or an evening walk. From arrival on, the team welcomed us with warm smiles and incredibly attentive care. Every detail seemed geared toward comfort and calm. Anavana Beach Resort combines nature, luxury and heartfelt service in a way that made us feel refreshed by the time we left. We’re already dreaming of another visit. Highly recommended!

We loved the six nights here and plan to return. The staff, service, accommodation and location were all great. The restaurant served good quality food at fair prices for a setting with such lovely water views. There was a two-hour happy hour every afternoon, with buy-one-get-one-free drinks, including cocktails. Breakfast buffet had a great selection for all tastes and nationalities.
