I stayed for a month while looking for somewhere better nearby, and the whole experience was terrible. The location is very hard to get to. A pack of dogs roams around the house at night, and if you don’t have a car or motorbike, I wouldn’t walk around the area after 7 pm. The houses are old, damp-smelling, and in very poor repair. There was no hot water, and the cold water came out weakly. During my 30 days, there were seven days with no water at all because they simply didn’t bring any. The place was barely cleaned, and the pool was a swamp. The only staff member was a Thai grandmother who didn’t speak English and could barely understand even with a translator. I strongly don’t recommend this place.

It’s a quiet, beautiful place that could be great for a long stay, and the rooms are good for the price. But know the prices: she charges 7,000 for local people and 9,000 for tourists, though the monthly rate should be 7,000. At first she asked me for 2,000 Baht a month to rent a very bad motorbike, then after two weeks said I had to pay double for no reason. I refused and told her to call the police if she had a problem. She never did. Know the rates so she can’t scam you. Good luck.
