Aussieland Bungalows

We booked two months at Aussieland Bungalows for March and April. As soon as we got into the bungalow, it smelled bad, was hot, and felt completely unhygienic. The shower was rusty and didn’t work properly, the ceiling was moldy, and the air-conditioning barely worked. It was also much smaller than the photos made it look. Horrible place. We left that same day and fortunately got our money back. Stay away, lads.

The walls and ceilings in the rooms were covered in mold, and the hygiene was extremely poor. Loose, broken tiles had sharp edges, which seemed very dangerous for children. The staff and owner were extremely unfriendly. When we raised our complaints, they became aggressive and threatened us verbally and non-verbally. We called the police and left. Terrible experience, the worst hotel stay we’ve had.

I stayed in bungalow number 10 and everything was fine. The place is on the water, but I didn’t have any trouble with mosquitos. It’s near the beach and everything else, yet on a quiet street with no noise, so I slept well. I really enjoyed the warm welcome from the owners. A pleasant stay, and I’ll come back next time I fly from Vietnam.

Good location, but the rooms were dirty, old, and musty, with rotten wood in the kitchen. The pool was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen in Thailand. There were lots of mosquitos, and the staff were rude, without even a hello or goodbye.
