Beach Apartment Samui (Bann Kanchana Bangrak)

The location is a big plus: across from the beach, around 10 minutes from the airport and most attractions. The employees were friendly, and the room was spacious with an amazing terrace. But the place I stayed in felt very old, and the room wasn’t clean when I arrived, with food left behind by previous guests. Although it’s described as serviced apartments, I didn’t receive any service during my stay, even after asking. At 200 USD a night, I don’t think it’s worth the price.

We stayed four nights before moving into an apartment for a longer visit, and I wish we could have stayed here the whole time. The property and room were beautiful, breakfast was lavish, and the pool complex was gorgeous. Bravo.

The owner took more than 30 minutes to get us settled into the apartment and speaks perfect English and German. Everything felt terrific for the money. The place is very new, with a great bathroom, a nice little kitchen, kitchen table and chairs, and a lounge. The bed was good quality and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. The beach is only 50 metres away, with direct access. I’ll come back next time I’m here.

Handy location for restaurants, shopping and the beach, and they can arrange a private taxi. The serviced apartment was conveniently placed and moderately priced, with friendly, attentive staff. Worth checking out!
