City Dance Hotel

I usually don’t leave reviews, but the team here made our stay such a good one. We’d accidentally booked without breakfast, and they kindly included it for us. Everyone was warm and helpful, and they were happy to accommodate all our needs. The hotel is right along the Chaweng strip too. Very happy with the experience.

The room was roomy, with clean towels and linens, and there’s a 7-11 directly across the street. It’s convenient but just removed enough from the busiest area. The noise was the main problem. The walls carry conversations and laughter from next door, and most doors seemed poorly fitted, with a gap of about 1 cm at the top. You could clearly hear people talking in the walkway. The shower head also needs replacing; it wasn’t working properly.

We only spent one night here while traveling around Thailand for three weeks, but the staff support stood out more than anywhere else on our trip. They were amazing at helping with all our concerns. The room was very clean, breakfast was really good, and the bar opened in the evening for a relaxed happy hour. I’d strongly recommend this hotel. Best one in Koh Samui.

A friendly little place with good value for the rooms, close to both the city centre and the beach. The one thing I wasn’t keen on was breakfast: it was basic, and there was a drain smell in the toilet. If breakfast isn’t already included, I wouldn’t pay extra for it, since you can get much better for the same price elsewhere.
