Daddy Resort

I moved to a two-bedroom house after the one-bedroom place turned out to be a bad deal. The new house has proper 5G internet, three working air conditioners, a washing machine, microwave, big home-cinema-worthy TV that I use every night, plenty of good lighting, and a hi-fi system. I used much more electricity there, yet the monthly bill was only 740 baht. That makes the 1,900 baht I was charged for one month in the smaller house seem very wrong. I was told electricity would be charged at the government rate, but that was plainly untrue. The one-bedroom house had weak, unsecured internet that was almost useless, one poorly working bedroom air conditioner, a grubby old fridge with no light, a TV that didn’t work, and a few weak energy-saving bulbs. There were also hundreds of mosquitoes. Given how much more electricity I used in the two-bedroom place, the first bill should have been no more than 200 baht. Such a shame, I really didn’t expect this 😒
