The Bo Phut beach wasn’t very clean and didn’t seem as good for swimming as Chaweng. Also, there’s a ฿5,000 deposit charged to your card, and it’s not returned until seven days after checkout. Any breakage, even something like a wine glass, is chargeable. That said, I loved my ground-floor apartment. It was spacious, spotless, almost new, and had a sea view with pool access. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, and there was a washing machine, though you need to bring detergent. The kitchenette was well stocked, with washing-up liquid, a sponge, and linen provided. It felt like home, and there was even a smart TV. I had a fantastic stay and would come back when I’m in Fisherman’s Village.

The area around B1 was peaceful, and we were only a short walk from plenty of cafes and shops. The views were lovely too. Our apartment was elegant and charming, and the staff were so friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay.

The staff were wonderful, especially Pawisa, and they kept the rooms clean every day. They couldn’t do enough for us. There’s a private beach out front with loungers and bean bags for relaxing, and we had a really lovely stay. The apartment itself was roomy and well looked after, with a very comfortable bed, two bathrooms, and two beds if you need them. It had everything we wanted, along with loads of satellite channels. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Samui. Just five minutes away, Chi Beach Club is a great place to spend a day. It has an infinity pool, huge comfy sun beds, good food and drinks, and lovely staff. We also booked the Ang Thong Full day Discovery Cruise through the 'Get your Guide' app, and had an amazing time. The big wooden sailboat had tasty breakfast and lunch included and lots of comfortable sun beds. You could relax on board, see the islands, or swim in the gorgeous green sea. It ran all day, which made it really relaxing, and the crew were so friendly. I’d say you’d miss out if you skipped the trip. Have fun!

You can step out the front of the property and reach the start of Fisherman's Village, while the sea is just behind it. It’s a quiet spot, but still close to things, and a coffee shop across the road serves a nice range of drinks and light bites. B1 is an affordable, professionally managed beachfront apartment. The team has put thought into the details, with tasteful furnishings and quality appliances. Everyone on staff was polite and helpful. Housekeeping comes every three days, and the airport transfer was flexible, with a friendly, courteous driver.
