Dara Samui Beach Resort - Adults Only

I was sorry I couldn’t stay longer, and I’ll definitely come back. The resort has a beautiful atmosphere and sits right at the start of the promenade. Chaweng Beach is stunning, and every evening they set up a lovely candlelit dinner on the beach, so you can eat with the sound of the sea beneath your feet. The staff were outstanding, especially at the pool bar, always friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The food and service were the best I’ve had at any hotel across the many countries I’ve visited. The Phat Thai with beef and chicken was one of the top three dishes I’ve ever eaten.

The location worked perfectly for us: shops are nearby, and it’s right by the lively party street, yet the hotel itself stays quiet and peaceful. It has authentic Thai charm, with beautiful design and attention to detail. Elegant and luxurious without going overboard. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making guests feel special, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Are, who gave us such a warm welcome and surprised us with a suite upgrade for our honeymoon. That meant a lot and made the stay even more memorable. Breakfast was excellent, and the beachfront bars served amazing cocktails. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged for a dream stay. I’ll return whenever I’m back in Koh Samui, without hesitation.

We were lucky to get a complimentary villa upgrade, which made the stay even better. It was spacious, private, and just right for a relaxing getaway. Dara Samui is beautiful and very well maintained, with a lovely mix of comfort and tropical luxury. The location in Chaweng is a big plus: restaurants and nightlife are easy to reach, while the place is still peaceful when you want to unwind. What made it special, though, was the staff. Everyone was warm and attentive, always going the extra mile to make us comfortable. Nam deserves a special mention. She’s genuinely kind and sweet, and her hospitality made our stay memorable. We had an amazing stay with amazing people, and I’d definitely return.

The beach had beautiful fine sand and was very clean, and the food was great. We had a great time at the hotel. It was clean and comfortable, and we’d definitely like to come back for the peaceful feeling of returning to our room after a full day of activities and parties.
