Go Samui Hotel

We spent Eid here as a family and had a wonderful time. Baimon, Arthur, and Fern took great care of us, making sure we had what we needed and helping us plan excursions. They also helped put together a perfect birthday breakfast for my wife. I’d recommend this resort again and again. We’ll be back. Amazing.

Our private pool room was beautiful, and the whole place has a special, welcoming feel. Irene, Art, Pop, Nikki, and the rest of the team made everything easy, including arranging our dining by design dinner. We also loved the fire show and the daily happy hour at Sandals. We spent the second part of our honeymoon here, and from check-in to checkout the stay was fantastic. Can’t wait to return.

We spent a week here with the kids during our Thailand tour, and it felt like a little paradise. The Kids Club was a welcome place for my two and five-year-olds during the hottest hours, and getting around by golf buggy was easy. The rooms had a relaxed but luxurious feel, the food was generally good, and a 5 to 10 minute Grab ride got us to everything. We also enjoyed strolling along the beach. We spent plenty of time by the pool, where staff were attentive, and often ate at the restaurant. Irene was a terrific host. Fern at the front desk deserves a special mention: she made my daughters feel like royalty whenever she saw them. All the staff were great, but she really stood out. The girls also loved feeding the fish. If we come back to Koh Samui, we’ll stay here again. I only wish we could have stayed for a month.

The grounds are beautifully kept, and the infinity pool looking out over the beach makes a lovely, peaceful setting. Buggy transfers were easy to arrange with a button press, and every staff member we met was courteous and attentive. Our Pool Access Villa was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable and private. Direct pool access and the complimentary inflatables added a fun touch, while in-villa dining arrived promptly and was high quality. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a wide range of choices for different tastes and dietary needs. The à la carte menu made it even better, especially the mango crepe. We were warmly welcomed, and Oshian deserves special thanks for showing us around and checking in personally throughout our stay. Her thoughtfulness made a real difference. From the service and accommodation to the food and atmosphere, Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort lived up to its five-star status and Michelin Guide recognition. We’d gladly recommend it for a luxurious stay in Koh Samui and hope to return.
