Harry's Bungalows & Restaurant

The garden and pool are lovely, and from the bungalow you can hear the soothing ocean waves. Breakfast was made nicer by a really friendly restaurant waiter. The coffee was decent, and daily room cleaning was appreciated. Still, we were disappointed overall. On arrival we were unexpectedly charged 3% for paying by card, though this hadn't been mentioned while booking. The owners were unfriendly and handled it poorly, which made for a bad first impression. The bungalow also felt old and run-down: the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly, and the television looked ancient and didn't work. For 40€ a night, the bad points outweighed the good ones, and I wouldn't recommend it without major improvements.

The grounds are lush and beautiful, almost like being in a campsite or jungle, with a pool and spots to relax. We stayed in detached houses rather than rooms, and the internet was great. My wife and I picked it because we wanted somewhere near the pier. There are lots of local restaurants and smoothie bars nearby, and 7-eleven is a 10-15 minute walk away. The only downside was waiting a long time at reception to be checked in, since nobody was there. I highly recommend the place. And do feed the cats, they're so cute and affectionate 🙏🏻

The gardens were like a little oasis, and the library above the waterfall and koi pond was a lovely surprise. The pool was wonderful too, and restaurants, massage places, and shops in town are close by. I booked Harry's Bungalow because it's a five-minute walk from the pier, hoping my parents and I could relax before leaving Koh Samui. The wifi was awful at check-in, but when we told the hotel, the staff fixed it right away and offered us another room to make things more comfortable. I was sad to leave. Next time I'll definitely stay longer!

Friendly staff and a great location. A nice, clean place to sleep for a few nights.
