We picked a quieter part of the island and loved walking to the nearby beaches. Laura can arrange a scooter, though we preferred exploring on foot. It gets hot, so bring water. Laura also booked us a lovely day at Elephant Spa. We took a boat to Pig Island, snorkelled at Coral Cove, and had two traditional Thai massages. At Laura's Guesthouse, the pool was sparkling clean and a lovely place to cool off. I spent time reading or listening to podcasts in the hammock and on a pool lounger. Our romantic suite felt homely, was beautifully furnished, and was cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was faultless, and there was a fridge/freezer for water and juice. Laura and her partner were so helpful throughout our fantastic nine-day stay at the end of April and start of May 2025. A special mention for Sunny, Laura's affectionate dog, who loved cuddles and back rubs. Laura is pictured with me and Sunny in the first photo below. Thanks so much, Laura. Laura is so sweet and made me feel at home. Her house is a beautiful, authentic place, put together with love and passion, and feels like a cozy little masterpiece. It's the cleanest place I've ever stayed in, which is really rare for Thailand. I loved my night there and would happily come back. Thank you for having me, Laura. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

We stayed for four weeks last year and are coming back this year. Laura is lovely and always there if you need her. The homemade breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the rooms were roomy and very clean. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool in such a quiet spot. Laura can help arrange a scooter, which makes it easy to get around Koh Samui. There's a beautiful lake nearby with an island where you can do lots of free sports activities, and shops and places to eat are close by. After many months in Thailand, this was our favorite stay. It was a peaceful break from busy Koh Samui.

Laura’s guesthouse is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely rooms, a nice garden and pool, a friendly dog, and a wonderful owner. We felt comfortable and welcome the whole time. Koh Samui didn't fully convince us, but Laura made our visit much better and gave us a bright spot on the island. I'd recommend staying here again and again. It deserves more than five stars.

The sweetest part was the very cute dog, who came by every morning looking for cuddles. We had a wonderful time at Laura’s guest house, slept well in a comfy bed, and loved the pool. We'd be happy to return someday.
