Mantra Samui Resort

The staff at Mantra Resort were the best part of my memorable stay. They took wonderful care of me and even gave me a free room upgrade. The uphill infinity pool has gorgeous views over the gulf. The signature Studio Style rooms are lovely, modern, and beautifully decorated. The apartments near the pool are good too, though the area can feel a bit sketchy. It gets very slippery up there when it rains, so be careful. I had repeated AC problems and power cuts. To their credit, these were fixed quickly. One night, after heavy rain knocked out the generator, the problem lasted a while and they gave me another room for the night, which I appreciated. I just wish management had spotted the issue and offered the room first, instead of waiting for me to ask. I’d rate the place well for the staff’s care and quick repairs. The AC and power issues need a full audit and a permanent fix so future guests don’t have to deal with them.

The room was modern, beautifully designed, and very clean, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Friendly, welcoming staff helped make the atmosphere warm and relaxed. We had a very pleasant time at Mantra Resort and will definitely be back. Thanks for the lovely experience!

I stayed for four days in May 2026 and was happy with the experience. On arrival, I got a free upgrade to an ocean-view room. The apartment was fantastic and spacious, with a modern bathroom and everything I needed. The pool and its view are amazing, the bar has good cocktails and delicious fruit, and the gym is well equipped. What really stood out was the staff. I’ve never had such a friendly, welcoming, amazing experience with a team before. Sooooooo nice, it’s unbelievable. Highly recommend this place!

The peaceful atmosphere made this a lovely quiet getaway, and the view is absolutely stunning. Breakfast was generous and good, with a nice range of dishes from the menu. The staff were kind, and even though the shuttle costs extra, it was very convenient. A couple of details kept it from feeling fully 5-star. The fruit, especially watermelon and rock melon, didn’t seem as fresh as expected. We also missed out on the complimentary cocktail because the hotel shuttle was delayed by five minutes. Beautiful property, with great potential, but it needs more attention to those little details.
