March Samui Resort

The rooms each had a very private outdoor terrace, and the staff were lovely. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was big, and the pool was so nice. There’s a lovely big beach right opposite. They also offer moped rental and Muay Thai sessions.

Do not book here. They cancelled our reservation without telling us, and when we arrived the hotel said it was fully booked. The booking money was held for 12 days while we waited for a refund. We had to call and ask for it ourselves because the hotel didn’t notify Booking directly. It caused us a lot of stress and cost us money.

The staff were nice, the pool was good, the location worked well, and the AC was new. But there was no soundproofing at all, so we heard a lot of noise from the next room. The place was full of mosquitoes and ants, none of the windows had blinds, and the entrance door didn’t close properly, leaving huge gaps. There was no hot water, and 700 baths is far too expensive for this condition. It needs a total renovation to become a wonderful place. I wish I could buy it because it has so much potential, but it’s all ruined.

The resort was very clean, and the staff were friendly and polite. I was given coffee and bottled water every day. The rooms are extremely spacious, with a very large bed, though they feel a little outdated and could use a lick of paint to look more modern. I’d ask for a room away from the pool next time, since I woke up to loud conversations outside and people walking past. It would also help to provide cutlery. There wasn’t even a spoon to stir the coffee, or any cutlery for eating food we ordered.
