This was my worst experience in Thailand. The communication was poor, the photos were misleading, the area was noisy, and there was a bad smell from the nearby canal. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the electricity charge felt unfair.

A modern place with pretty much everything: floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, a wet-room shower, balcony, microwave, mini fridge, TV with lots of channels, and modern AC. The location is the only good thing. The host's service was bad from the start, and the room was bad too. All bad...

The beach is right across the road, visible from the balcony and even from the bed. The apartment has everything needed for a stay, and there are excellent restaurants, good bars, and several supermarkets close by on Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui. Street noise comes through the balcony and front doors, which aren't very soundproof. Pickups pass late into the night advertising Muay Thai fights, Capybara cafes, and fruit, and you can hear people walking by and talking clearly. There's a canal behind the building, too, and it sometimes smells a bit unpleasant.
