Napasai Samui Residence Resort

The area is lovely and completely quiet, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with Thai and western options, fresh organic ingredients, and a direct view of the beach. The pool and beach area were very nice too. They lend bikes for free, handy for going for a massage or picking up food nearby. One of the best places I’ve visited abroad.

We spent five nights here on our honeymoon and wished we could have stayed longer. It was the most relaxing and beautiful hotel we’ve ever visited. The resort has around 50 separate huts, so it feels small and gives everyone space and privacy. The beach is secluded and never got busy while we were there. There didn’t seem to be many loungers at first, but staff brought more whenever needed. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced when we ate at the hotel in the evening, which we did a few times. Fisherman’s village is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. We booked a taxi through the hotel app for around 400 baht. I can’t recommend Napasai enough. We would have spent our whole honeymoon week there if we could.

The team at Napasai Samui gave us real kindness when we needed it. Before arriving, we faced a sudden, distressing medical emergency involving close friends in Bangkok, so we asked whether our dates could be adjusted. Third-party booking rules and availability made it complicated at first, but Khun Ohm reviewed our request and availability again. The team offered flexibility without penalties and a complimentary upgrade for the first two nights. They handled it quickly and thoughtfully, which meant a lot during a stressful time. We arrived early with our 7-month-old son and were welcomed warmly and allowed to use the facilities. Throughout our stay, the staff were attentive, kind and sincere. The villas were spacious and beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. The setting is peaceful and breathtaking, with a palm-lined private beach, calm water, plenty of space and privacy, and understated luxury. There was no mass-tourism feel or noise, just serenity and genuine Thai hospitality. We hear the resort is closing for extensive renovations in April/May 2026. We hope its tranquillity, elegance and human warmth remain. We wholeheartedly recommend Napasai to anyone considering Koh Samui, and we’ll absolutely return.

We loved our four nights here. The quiet, relaxing setting was just what we wanted. Our sea view villa was spacious, with gorgeous views, and the private beach stayed free of crowds with plenty of beds. The food was incredible. I’d recommend trying the restaurant at least once, and we also enjoyed ordering food to the beach on a few days. The hotel is a bit away from everything, which suited us. There are a few restaurants, a 7-eleven and massage places within walking distance if you want to go out without a taxi. I can’t recommend this hotel enough if you’re after privacy and peace.
