We booked the apartment through Airbnb and enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean, cleaned daily, with drinking water provided. The air conditioning worked well and was powerful, and fresh towels and beach towels were provided each day. From the room, we could see a secluded part of the beach. Low tide makes it less suitable for swimming. It’s a 10-15 min walk to 7/11 and a cafe, and you’ll need a bike or taxi to get farther away. Thank you!

Our private hut was clean, and they left water bottles each day. The internet was strong, the air conditioner worked well, the TV signal was perfect, and we never had any problems with bugs. When we suddenly extended our stay by another 3 nights, the friendly front desk sorted it out easily. We were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we arrived on time. The beach is nice for sitting with a drink, though that stretch of water isn’t the best for swimming. It was easy enough to walk down the beach and find good swimming water.

It’s cheap, has its own beach, and the staff are friendly. A good spot for couples or some time alone, though it’s a bit far from the lively center of Lamai. The sunrise wasn’t very good when we were there in Feb, probably because the sun was a bit northenly at that time of year.

A cheap, simple place with several places to eat nearby. The basics mostly worked, but the mattress needs replacing. The beach was quiet during the off season.
