The rooms are roomy and cool, breakfast was good, and the staff were really friendly. A great hotel.

The rooms were clean, large, and had a nice sea view. The price was good too. I’d definitely recommend booking here.

This place feels like it’s been getting better, judging by older reviews I’d read. I stayed one night in what I think is the best room, the corner one at the end of the second-floor corridor. It’s spacious and lovely, with wooden floors and Thai-style details. No odd smells, damp, or mold, and it was very clean. The AC was quiet and strong, and the balcony was huge. The toilet and kitchen are in a separate room. Shower heat and pressure weren’t especially strong, but it wasn’t a problem. I wish I’d taken more photos because the room really is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, and I could see a bit of the sea through the trees. There’s a bike rental right next door. As on much of the island, you’ll need a scooter to get around. If you only want to walk, you’ll need to stay in other areas, since finding a place that’s affordable, near the beach and food, and quiet all at once is hard. A scooter or the GRAB app makes getting around quick and easy. If you can’t do that, there’s a nice road with lots of cute restaurants about 10 minutes away on foot. I recommend THE MOTHER, which I reviewed too. The staff were super nice. A kind Thai girl welcomed me at night and showed me the room. She said she’d be around until 11pm. I’d seen older reviews saying staff left at 6pm, so I think management has addressed that. If you get this same room, it’s a real bargain.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s simple and clean, with great value for the money, though it isn’t a luxury resort. I’d recommend it.
