Three Trees Samui Resort - Sarocha Villa

The buffet breakfast was a standout, with a great range of Western and Thai dishes, and the Friday fire show was amazing. The pools, ocean views, and location were beautiful, and the attentive, kind staff made it feel like the most luxurious place we stayed in Thailand, at a really good price. We wished we could have stayed longer. We had trouble getting hot water to our room, but the staff fixed it quickly. The shower head placement was a minor annoyance: it sprayed toward the far wall, so I had to hold the handle to get it positioned properly.

The restaurant and pool have incredible ocean views, and there are free kayaks and paddleboards to use. We booked a villa with a private pool and loved it. Fridays have a fire show, while the rest of the place feels quiet and peaceful. There are complimentary snacks, water, and even a coin purse souvenir. What really made our stay was how helpful the staff were. They added plenty of vegan choices to the varied breakfast buffet, kept our luggage while we went to Mainland for a week, and stored my medicine in their fridge until I came back. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help, with service like my 5* Maldives trip. I'm surprised this isn't rated 5 stars. It's our favourite hotel we've ever stayed at. Definitely book.

We had a very pleasant stay, and really liked both the room and the pool and restaurant. When we were a little late for checkout, the staff stressed us out quite a bit. Also, I'd swap the salty popcorn for sweet.

Having a dip pool in our room was incredible, and everything was very clean with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The place was stunning and felt unlike a hotel.
