On my morning beach walk today, I stopped to wipe my feet with the paper towels I'd brought before putting my shoes back on. Torsten came over with his three dogs and was very confrontational. I won't go into all the details, but it was Christmas Day and that's all I was doing. If there's a grinch, I'm pretty sure I met him. I would never stay here. I'm fortunate I don't often run into people like that.

Torsten was incredibly kind and gave us lots of useful tips about the accommodation and nearby services when he welcomed us. The resort has a small pool and restaurant, and shops, massage places, restaurants, and a night market are all within walking distance. We stayed in the largest house, number 21. It was fully equipped, with two floors, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a spacious kitchen with all the amenities. There was air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a large terrace. The small resort sits in a beautiful, well-kept tropical garden that made the setting feel pleasantly cool.

It was a magical place, and our stay went way beyond what we expected. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and we loved the comfort, staff, and concept. We'll come back.

The food I tried here wasn't very good. I've had better-tasting Thai food overseas. The fresh fruit juices weren't fresh either. They poured some of a packaged bottled drink that tasted like cordial and served it to us.

We've been here several times from the UK. It's a lovely, shaded community by the sea, with a leader and staff who really care and are very sociable.
