Villa U

We had breakfast every morning and dinner one night from the in-villa chef, and that was by far the best meal we had in Thailand. The living room opened right onto a pool unlike anything I’ve seen, and every bedroom was huge, with super comfortable beds and unbeatable ocean views. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. My most amazing villa stay ever. Five stars all round. Hopefully I’ll be back!

The sunset from Villa U was absolutely incredible, and we had a wonderful stay. The villa is in a quiet part of the island, so expect a 20-40 minute trip to good restaurants. We booked it for beach access for our 2-year-old, but high tide made the beach inaccessible for much of the day. It may be seasonal, but the marketing photos show the tide way out, which is what we expected. The staff were a huge highlight. Jo and Khem, the cooks and villa managers, made some of the best food we had on our Koh Samui trip. They and Janji, the concierge, looked after all our reservations and handled every request, including our laundry, shopping, and even getting the car washed. Five stars for them. The villa itself was fantastic and very clean, though it could use some maintenance: the windows facing the pool are stained, some furniture is a little tired, and the glass around the pool could be tidied up.

We’ve been here twice now, and everything was perfect again: manager, staff, food, and rooms, all 5/5. The pool is amazing. The weather wasn’t great this time, but it was okay. See you soon.

The beach at Lipa Noi was just what we wanted: quiet, uncrowded, and beautiful. We spent two fantastic weeks at the villa, whose facilities were perfect and spotlessly clean. Kem and Joe were wonderful hosts, cooking such amazing meals that we never went out and pampering us around the clock. Janjie, the villa manager, was always available and expertly organized everything. A perfect place for time with family and friends! 🤩
