It's peaceful and pretty around the resort. With a scooter, shops and beaches are quick and easy to reach. The bungalow was clean and had everything we needed, though it was a little small. Fine for one person, but with two it can feel awkward, especially with luggage. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful.

We had a peaceful stay in clean, comfortable rooms, and the location was stunning. The family who owns this mountain hotel in Koh Samui were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel truly welcome. This was the highlight of our trip and amazing value for money, by far the best place we stayed in Thailand. A real hidden gem, highly recommended.

I spent two months at Tara Resort and had the best experience. It's a beautiful, quiet place in the jungle, not far from Nathon Town. The owner's family were always helpful and replied really quickly. I rented a scooter there too. I'd definitely come back.

The resort is run by a very warm family who take real pride in their land and in making their guests happy. It's such a peaceful spot in Thailand, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere calm. They also rent scooters, which is a nice bonus. It feels like home, with shower water filters, hot water, and A/C. It was an amazing stay, and honestly I would still have given it five stars without all the extras.
