The beach was really nice, and the service was excellent. We had a very good stay, with nice rooms and lots of facilities nearby, including restaurants.

The location was great, with a 7-Eleven, pier, pharmacy, and restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the airport transfer we booked for 300 baht worked perfectly. We stayed in a budget room, which had the facilities we needed, though the furnishings were a bit old but still fine. The hotel told us before booking that the room was street-facing and noisy, so that was okay. Heat was a bigger issue. Without air conditioning the room got very hot after a few minutes, making sleep uncomfortable, especially since the AC blew straight over the bed. We've stayed in many hotels in Thailand and never had that before. Maybe the room was poorly insulated. If we came back, we'd consider a different room.

It was easy to rent a motorbike here for a very affordable price, and the staff were kind and friendly. The Shore is also conveniently located, only a seven-minute drive from the Fisherman’s Night Market. The hotel felt a bit dated, though, and we found cockroaches and ants in the room. Better doors or insect screens would help keep the bugs out.

The staff were friendly, and I was glad I could rent a scooter right at the hotel for a reasonable price. We had the best ocean view room, so I may be a little biased. We could walk straight from the door onto the beach. I'd recommend paying extra to upgrade. I'd come back if it were available.
