The staff were kind and the service was good, and the location works well for what Chaweng offers. The air-conditioned rooms are a comfortable size. But after five days of barely sleeping, I was completely exhausted and won’t be back. I knew there could be noise, but my room faced the bars directly, and the music was so loud that earplugs didn’t help. I’m usually able to sleep in almost any situation. The room was next to a balcony, so the music seemed to come at it from all directions. As an architect, I think there are plenty of design changes that could reduce the noise, but none had been made. I realized within ten minutes of arriving that I’d made a mistake booking here. Reception offered another room, but it wasn’t the same level or quality as the one I’d booked, and cancellation wasn’t an option. I’d strongly urge the hotel to make serious changes given how noisy it is. Sadly, I didn’t get what I needed from this stay. I wish them the best of luck.

The reception girls were really friendly, the only good thing about the stay. Outside music blasted into the room until five or six in the morning, and the bed seemed to vibrate with it.

The room was louder than the nightclub itself, and the bed smelled like piss. After one night, the booking agency refunded me at 8 pm. The manager still coerced me into paying 1000 thb in cash because checkout time had passed, and threatened to call the police.

The room smelled horrible, and when I asked for it to be sprayed, the woman at the front desk gave me a terrible attitude. I’d already asked for a replacement room and got the same response. I arrived at 1241am on Feb 14th, and she was the rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with. Absolutely the worst customer service ever!
