The villa is at the quieter bottom end of the island, around a 20-minute drive from Lamai and another 20 minutes from the main area near the top, where most of the bars, clubs, and restaurants are. There are a few ways to get to Koh Samui, including an overnight ferry from Bangkok or flights. If you’re after peace and quiet, this place delivers. The website photos accurately show the villa. It isn’t ultra-modern, but it has most things you’ll need, including a large TV with Netflix. The open-plan layout is pleasant, with several dining options. From the bedroom balcony there’s a great sea view, with the sea a short distance away. The owner included use of a large four-wheel-drive SUV in the cost, and it handled the very steep hill to the villa without trouble. There’s 24-hour security at the entrance to the estate, which has several villas. Parking is at the villa, with access down a flight of steps. The pool is completely secluded, as is the small jacuzzi, with no overlooking. We had a great stay and would use the company again. Go and see for yourself.
