For what we paid, this villa was absolutely worth it. Dave picked us up at the pier when we arrived in Samui and dropped us at the airport after our eight nights there. He also arranged a car for us at an affordable price. The villa is in Taling Ngam, a relatively untouched part of Koh Samui. Lamai and Lipa Noi beaches, where you can swim and sunbathe, are about a 15-minute drive away. There are beaches closer to the villa, but we didn't find them good. The place was in good condition, though a few small things weren't working: the satellite TV in the kitchen area, a bulb by the washing machine, and the light in the kitchen hood. We forgot about those issues by day two. The pool was clear, and the changing colors of its backlights at night were fascinating. We were very happy at Peacefull villas and will definitely come back to Dave and Taling Ngam.

For privacy and relaxing, this was just the place. The villa has everything we needed: washing machine, dishwasher, gas grill, two toilets, a bathtub, two showers, fridge, microwave, two TVs with satellite channels, kettle, blender, coffee maker, and toaster. The pool is wonderful, with moderately salty, non-chlorinated water, a jacuzzi, and lights at night. David kindly lent us a scooter. Whenever a question came up during our holiday, he sorted it out quickly and efficiently, and we're very grateful. The internet was amazing, too. We'll definitely come back. I'd recommend it for a romantic, secluded getaway.
