Villa Samui Sea Me

The villa’s large, sparkling pool and tropical garden made a great impression, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. We stayed in January and were impressed by the quality of the setup as well as the location. It’s in a high-end gated community, a short walk from Choeng Mon beach, restaurants, and bars. The Sonos Bluetooth speakers across the different levels and areas were a much appreciated touch. We’d highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

Angie was a great host and shared lots of useful tips and recommendations. We stayed at the start of 2022, five of us including friends and their teenager, and there was enough space to be together or have time apart. The three-bedroom villa is stylishly furnished, fully equipped, and has a Sonos sound system. We also enjoyed the large, deep pool, the garden, and free access to the gym. Choeng Mon beach is about a five-minute walk away, though the route is a bit uphill, and the sea view is lovely. During the day the villa gets too hot, so the air conditioning needs to be on all the time. The bathrooms don’t have proper doors or much privacy, which may be a downside, though that’s fairly common in Asian houses. I can definitely recommend it for a winter vacation.

We spent four great weeks in this beautiful villa and didn’t want to leave. The kids loved it too. It felt cozy, had lovely views and a nice garden with a pool, and was even better than the photos. There was everything we needed in the house, it was easy to contact the owner, and housekeeping came once a week. For getting around the island, I’d suggest renting a motorbike or car. The village is a bit too far to walk comfortably in the heat, uphill, with small kids. Also, electricity and water are charged separately and came to about €20 a day.

We’re based in Singapore and this was our second time renting Angie’s house. We loved it again, spending the whole month of August there. The house is well decorated and maintained, with great rooms, a lovely view, and a huge pool. It’s in a secure residence with a gym, tennis court, and staff who can help with requests. Angie is very nice and happy to answer questions. You can walk to one of Samui’s nicest beaches, with shops, massage spots, and restaurants also within walking distance. It’s a great place to rent, and we’d happily return.
