Michal made our stay in Koh Tao unforgettable. It was my first time on the island, and I arrived nervous and worried about scams. He went way above and beyond and saved us precious time and money. We got an early check-in when our ferry arrived too early, so we didn’t have to wander around for hours with all our bags and money. Call him. He took us to a reputable scooter hire shop and showed us how to hire one properly. My passport was safely returned at the end. Then he took us for petrol and showed us around the island, including good food spots, a free swimming pool, laundry, supermarkets, and other essentials. With one day’s notice, he arranged a snorkeling trip and transport, so all we had to do was get up on time. He also gave us insect repellent stickers, DVDs, filtered drinking water, a map, an island information book, and all the usual hotel things. He shared his personal mobile number in case we needed him at any time. On our last morning he got up at 5:20 a.m. to check us out, surprised us with coffee, and printed our ferry tickets before we left. His wife deserves a special mention too. She cleaned our room every day while we were out, mopping the floors, folding our clothes, tidying our things, changing towels, and refreshing everything we needed. She was amazing. THANK YOU!!
