The guesthouse is in a great spot, and the staff are extremely friendly. You can’t pass the owner without getting a big smile. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work properly on the second floor.

I slept really well during my two nights at La Ville View. It’s a welcoming guesthouse close to the center of Koh Tao, and my clean room had air conditioning and a comfortable balcony where I could smoke and look out over town. The staff were kind and humble, and I think it’s family-run. Reception opens at 7:30 am. I left earlier, so there was nobody to check me out and I left my security deposit with them. After I got in touch, they kindly contacted the hotel where I’m now staying on Koh Phangan and transferred the deposit there. That hotel refunded me right away. They were truly honest and kind. If you’re passing through Koh Tao, visit them. They’ll treat you wonderfully.
