Overthemoon Luxury Pool Villas

A lovely villa, and the sunset from the pool is amazing. It's close to the beach too. We hope to come back soon.

The pool was fantastic for a sunny afternoon, and the space is gorgeous, with plenty of kitchen things to use. The caretakers are kind and wonderful. The hill is definitely a hike, but the spectacular views make it worth it, and the beach is about a 10 minute walk away. A few evenings, we walked up to the gold bar for great appetizers and drinks. We also had our laundry done a couple of times, which was easy. If you have luggage or groceries and don't want to haul them up the hill, taxis are available. It cost us 300 baht each time.

A heads-up for anyone who has trouble hiking: the property sits on a steep hill. The view is the clear highlight, and the villa has tasteful interiors, lots of room to relax, and a private plunge pool. It looks luxurious and has plenty of potential, but our stay fell short of what we expected for the price. A power cut left us without electricity or water for a whole day, and there was no backup power. The hospitality also felt superficial and transactional compared with other places we stayed on our trip. We missed the warmth and genuine care that make a stay memorable. The place looks great on the surface, but the service and basic reliability disappointed us.

We woke up to lovely sunrises and spent quiet evenings by the pool. The villa's secluded setting gave us privacy and peace, while still being close to local attractions and beaches. It was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. The design is beautiful, with modern comforts and a tropical feel, and the private pool was a refreshing place to unwind. The host made the stay special, responding quickly, being friendly and accommodating, and sharing useful local tips. They took care of our needs promptly. We had a small concern before arrival, but the host handled it professionally and with care, which put us at ease. From arrival onward, the views and amenities made the experience feel magical. We had an unforgettable time and highly recommend the villa for a luxurious, peaceful getaway. We can't wait to return.
