Save Bungalows

At Save bungalows, the room was spacious and had a kettle, cups, tea, and a mini fridge. The bed was comfortable, and reception would arrange cleaning whenever we asked. Most things on the island were within walking distance. My partner and I had a lovely stay near the beach, and we'd come back :)

The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the rooms are very noisy, and guests have to remind each other to keep quiet in the evenings. Next door, construction workers start hammering, welding, and drilling at 8 a.m. It's unbearable and wakes you immediately. In my opinion, if guests are sleeping two metres away, they could start at 10 a.m. If you need sleep, kindly don't book this hotel.

The area is an easy walk from the pier. The road turns to dirt and gets quiet, check-in was simple, the signs were easy to spot, and Mr. T’s mini mart is very close. The room isn't brand new, but it was great. Maybe it's been updated: the pillows were comfortable, the bed felt new and was extra firm, which I liked. The sheets and towels smelled nice without being too scented. There's a fridge, hot water, AC, a fan, and a pleasant porch seating area. I don't use TVs anyway. You can walk to everything or explore by scooter, and renting next door was easy. I really liked Master Diver, which was nearby and not too crowded. Moonlight BBQ was incredible and very reasonably priced, Goodtimes had great live music, and Kinnesee was amazing, go see Moany. The only issue was loud partying neighbors and constant TV noise nearby, which wasn't the property's fault. Bring headphones. It was a pleasant surprise, since the reviews seemed a little off.

Mr T made the stay for us. He was so friendly and easygoing, and really went out of his way to help. The three of us were comfortable in Save Bungalows, right beside a small stretch of beach below the pier. It’s a nice spot for snorkelling around the wrecks and rocky coves, with beach bars and cafes nearby. Our room was clean, had air conditioning, a kitchen area, bathroom and decent free wifi. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks again!
