Sensi Paradise Beach Resort

The multi-level pools were well maintained and had plenty of seating, so no need to compete for a lounger. Breakfast was a great buffet with lots to choose from, including Western and Thaï options. The hotel also helped us book a half-day fishing trip in a longtail boat, and the captain was absolutely lovely. It’s a short five-minute walk to the pier along the beach, though there’s also a free shuttle. The spot is close to bars, restaurants and the beach, but far enough from the nightlife to get a good night’s sleep. Definitely recommend.

The Burmese staff were wonderful, and breakfast was excellent. Snorkelling is good from the beach, including around the resort’s own wreck. The resort is in a lovely natural setting with its own beaches, but still close to bars and restaurants. The wooden bungalows are basic yet very comfortable, and some rooms have great sea views.

The views are lovely, and the service was even better. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We especially liked the fresh tomato and mozzarella with pesto, which made a great base for a few tasty additions of my own. The green curry with giant shrimp was the highlight: full of flavor, just the right amount of spice, and served with sticky rice. Great food in a stunning location.

The bungalows were spacious and spotless, with wonderful views and a peaceful feel. Staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and always keen to help. At the restaurant, the view was breathtaking, the food fresh and delicious, and the wine selection well chosen. The resort is lush and thoughtfully laid out, with a lovely main pool built around natural rock formations and a separate children’s pool. It’s an easy walk from the pier and town center, and the scenic 10-minute beach walk is so nice that we hardly needed the shuttle. Renting a scooter directly from the hotel was convenient too. Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on Koh Tao combines comfort and beauty in a great location. Highly recommended for a perfect Koh Tao stay.
