Utopia Guesthouse

Goodtime is a welcoming spot for the beach, relaxed vibes, great food, and regular events. The location near the pier is wonderful, and it's a lovely place to watch the sunset with a cocktail. The room had everything I needed: a fridge, kettle, AC and fan, hot water, and plenty of space. The pillows were the comfiest I've had on all my travels around SEA. A few things could be better: there was no hand soap in the bathroom, the blankets were too short, and the wifi kept dropping after connecting. I could only get a connection in one particular spot in the room, so a new router would help.

Everyone was super friendly, which made my stay really nice. The room was clean, the wifi was okay, and there was beach access. My AC wasn't working, but they fixed it right away. Charly also helped bring my bags to my next destination, which was so helpful. I highly recommend Utopia by Goodtime.

The rooms are quite dark, and the weak bulb makes it hard to see at night. They're also not well maintained. The toilet flush broke while my partner and I had food poisoning, which was a nightmare. Without that happening, it would have been a decent stay.

It's easy to rest here, tucked away from the busy strip but still only a short walk from it. Coconut Monkey, a wonderful restaurant, is across the road, and there's a supermarket very close by. For anyone keen on diving, ‘Master Divers’ is next door, a very convenient and wonderful dive shop. Manager Francis is always ready to help and suggest ways to make your stay better. The Utopia Guesthouse is the best place to stay in Koh Tao, and I'll be back!
