View Point Resort Koh Tao

The breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a wide selection and everything delicious. The garden bungalows were spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. Service was impeccable and the resort facilities were fantastic. The team can arrange ferry transfers, scooter hire, and long tail boat trips, which made everything stress-free. The inside garden bungalows could use a little TLC, perhaps a fresh coat of paint and a few small touches, but that was minor in an otherwise faultless stay. We loved our time at View Point Resort & Spa Koh Tao and can't wait to come back. Thanks to the whole team!

The grounds are beautifully integrated with nature, and we loved the bungalow, the restaurant, and the pool. Our terrace was a peaceful place to spend the evenings. Rooms were cleaned daily, and the hotel's healthy, eco-friendly approach was a great plus. The staff handled everything with a smile, from our complimentary port pick-up and the Thai tea and cold towel on arrival to taking care of our luggage. They rent scooters at the same prices as elsewhere on the island, too. When the air conditioning broke, they fixed it straight away while we were out in town. Everything felt effortless, and we could forget about the outside world. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. It was unforgettable, and the best hotel we've ever stayed in.

We spent every day swimming and snorkelling in the lovely, quiet bay. The hotel sits right on or above the water, and our beachfront villa was amazing, right over the bay. The resort is fairly remote, but you can walk along the shore to the nearby town for restaurants and other services. The hotel also has an in-house taxi for trips to nearby towns and snorkelling areas. Breakfast was solid and included in the price, and the Thai food at the resort was excellent. Our kids stayed in garden view villas, which were more basic but good. Service was top notch. We had a fantastic stay in December 2025 and highly recommend it.

Our favourite stay on the Thailand trip, hands down! Piera and Diego were fantastic, giving us restaurant advice and arranging long tail boat snorkel tours. Bao captained both our private trips and was excellent at finding fish. The staff were wonderful throughout. It is a bit out of the way and on a hillside, but the hotel shuttle costs $3 per person, and being away from the busy towns was peaceful and relaxing. The views and jungle setting are gorgeous. It's a hike down to breakfast, though the ocean is lovely, and if you're in a villa they'll deliver it to you. That was delicious and a real highlight of our stay. See my photos.
