B2 Krabi Premier Hotel

The room itself was clean, and the bed and bathroom were tidy. The older AC still cooled it well, though one of our rooms wasn't stocked with its amenities when we arrived. We were disappointed by the breakfast included in our booking. It was just a wrap to heat in the microwave, not what we'd expected. The pool was open, but the water looked cloudy and didn't feel inviting. It's a long way from the city center. The grounds nearby were poorly kept, with grass grown over, and the place felt quiet and a little unsettling at night. It's okay for a basic stay if you don't expect much from the facilities. Better breakfast, pool water, and upkeep around the property would make a real difference.

The room was dirty, despite being one of the more expensive options. There were stains on the sheets, mold throughout the bathroom, water marks, and plenty of dust. We asked for cleaning and didn't get any shower gels. The water pressure was so weak that a stronger flow would last only about 30 seconds, which made showering impossible. The hotel looks nothing like the photos, and it's old and very worn. It does have a lovely lobby and a gym, but the pool is tiny, with just 4 loungers beside it. It's also in a remote area. I can see the room price has come down now. Maybe a stay is comfortable when it's not too expensive, but this isn't what I'd expect from a 4-star hotel.

Getting around was a hassle because the hotel is far from the main Krabi area, and at night it was very hard to find a cab there or back. There aren't any Indian food options nearby, either. The room was okay, but the old AC didn't cool very well, and I was disappointed there was no bathtub. I'd avoid the breakfast booking: it was a small packet with a bun and a few vegetables. We even got loose motion after eating it. I'd give it 2 out of 5 stars.

We booked thinking the hotel was B2 Krabi Ao Nang, based on the photos and promotional material. Only afterward did we realize the confirmed booking was for a different B2 hotel near the airport, a significant distance away. That wasn't made clear in the promotion and felt very misleading. We emailed the hotel as soon as we noticed, but got no reply. At reception, we kept hearing that “nothing can be done.” The women at the desk showed no willingness to help, suggest another option, or take responsibility. Their constant smiles came across as arrogant and indifferent, and the whole response felt passive and insincere. We were simply expected to accept a situation that didn't match what the promotion had led us to expect. I'm a travel agency owner and have traveled extensively, but this level of poor communication and lack of responsibility is rare. It seriously disrupted and ruined our vacation. We'll pursue the matter through formal complaint channels. If transparency, honest communication, and basic respect matter to you, avoid this hotel. Strongly not recommended.
