We spent two nights here and left disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable, the blanket smelled a little like urine, and the sheet kept sliding off the mattress. The towels had a musty smell, too. Several things in the room were a problem. The AC kept failing to switch on or off properly, and we had to pull out the power card to reset it. The toilet kept running unless we spent time fixing it by hand, sometimes for as long as half an hour. At one point the door lock broke and we were stuck inside for about 20 minutes. It was replaced while we were out, with all our things left in the room. Nothing was missing, but the situation felt unsettling. The receptionist was friendly, but rarely around, so it was hard to report issues. At checkout, there was no safe place to leave our luggage. We were told to hide it somewhere outside in the garden, which didn't seem appropriate for a hotel. It's also about a 30-minute walk from town along a busy road with strong sun, not a pleasant route. Pizzeria Napoli nearby was good, though, and made a nice dinner spot. For the price, there's plenty to improve.

The owner is welcoming and kind, speaks English very well, and knows how to make guests feel at home. The room was comfortable and clean, with a fridge and electric kettle, and there are 3 cats on the property! The different night markets by the water are about a 20-minute walk away, with Ao Nang beaches a short drive from here. This place deserves more than a 1-star rating. I'd absolutely recommend staying.

We spent about a week at Baan Bida and really liked it. The apartment was comfortable and clean, and our host was incredibly friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. I left something behind, but the owner made sure it was returned to me. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend Baan Bida for a welcoming, comfortable place.

We had six lovely nights here. Urawan was so nice and helped us plan our trips, with great suggestions from her knowledge of the area. We preferred Krabi town to the touristy Ao Nang and Rai Leh areas, so we rented a scooter and explored the main spots ourselves. Dragon Crest was our favorite. Tiger cave/ temple had a really nice sunrise view, and Penny's cooking class at Thai Charm cooking school was a secret 🤫 tip 😉. The weekend night market in Krabi was fun too, and they sold more than just food 🤪.

Everything was amazing, and we loved the stay. The owner was so sweet and helpful, the room was spotless, and nothing went wrong for us. We'd definitely stay again next time.
