Baifern Mansion

The room felt very stuffy and airless, and I couldn’t sleep because there was so little ventilation. It was dirty, like it had never been cleaned, and the walls were covered with lice and insects. I think you’ll definitely get sick if you stay here. We paid money and ended up feeling ill. What kind of hotel is this? Staying on the street would be better. I absolutely don’t recommend it. A waste of money. Never stay here.

We arrived late, so we had to spend the night, but ended up sleeping on our clothes at the end of the bed and couldn’t sleep. The experience ruined our day, so we cancelled our plans, left Krabi, and went as far as we could. This was the worst place ever, and even animals shouldn’t have to stay there, especially when you’re paying for it. The pillows were moldy and brown, not yellow, and there were stains everywhere, on the pillowcases, sheets, curtains, and walls. The toilet leaked every time it was flushed, and there was no toilet paper, shampoo, or anything. The booking said AC, but it wasn’t working. We had to choose between using a fan with a dead moth inside and a thick layer of dust, or being hot. It’s a serious health problem beyond the cleanliness. It could have been a nice place if they took care of it, but obviously no one cares about anything here.

I checked out as soon as I checked in. The room was far from good, with no Aircondition and no wifi, and the staff weren’t friendly. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever booked in all my years of travelling. I’d rather lose the money I paid than put myself through more stress. Never book this hotel if you don’t want to be disappointed.

The staff member was helpful and polite, and can assist with transport if you’re heading outside town. The room is a little old, but it’s cheap compared with most places. Krabi is expensive, including accommodation, and the beach and night market are about a 10 minute walk away.
