Bamboo Rest House

For the price, it's okay. The room gets a bit too hot, and the walls don't reach the ceiling, so you can hear what's going on in the corridor. The staff are nice, though their English isn't very good.

A warm, cosy place with a simple setup and what we needed. We stayed as a couple with friends in one of the two rooms with a fan, hot water, its own toilet, and a clean bed. The place looks a little old and run down, but it had the essentials. They also provided free bananas and water, and there's a coin-operated washing machine. Bike rental was about 250 baht per 24 hours, and airport transfers were available. The price was good, it was clean, and the location was handy. A 7/11 and a Thai massage place are each a one-minute walk away. The weekend market, open Friday to Sunday, and Wat Kaeo Kro Waram temple are five minutes away on foot. The night market, with cheap food and fruit, is an eight-minute walk. By motorbike, Tiger Temple is 17 minutes away, Ao Nang is 25 minutes, and the car fish farm / Mosey Parkers Elephant Camp is 35 minutes. Around Ao Nang there are Ao Nang walking street, shell cemetery, and Krabi coastal fisheries research and development center. They helped us book a tour, which could be discounted by up to 50% from the stated price.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the prices great.

The rooms were very clean and had hot water and AC. Nice price too :)
