The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, and they really seemed to enjoy their work. Please treat them with respect, I saw other tourists being rude to them. They ask before coming in to clean the rooms, which are comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, had no smell and worked fine. It’s only a few minutes on foot to markets, convenience stores and the beach, with all the usual essentials nearby. In the morning there’s free make-your-own coffee and pineapple tart cookies. You can order local food at a fair price. We hadn’t planned on renting a motorcycle, but it was so affordable we gave it a try, and helmets were provided. Birds sing on the property in the morning, which made it a relaxing stay for my husband, our friends and me. We had a great time at J Holiday Inn and can’t wait to come back. Thanks to the staff and management! 🫶🏻

The owner was kind and helpful, and the staff were polite throughout. We got good travel advice and suggestions for places to visit. There was free coffee and ovaltine, plus tasty freshly cooked Thai food at reasonable prices. The location is peaceful, away from rowdy tourists and clubs, but still within walking distance of amenities like 7-eleven. They also rent cute scooters if you want to ride to Krabi town. My friends and I would book here again next time we’re in Krabi. We arrived at night and got a warm welcome before checking in. Our two-night stay was great. The rooms were comfortable, clean and worth the price. We heard birds chirping in the morning, and some of them could talk, which was pretty amusing. I don’t think the complaints about the staff or accommodation are fair, since you can’t expect a 5 star suite at this price. We had no problems with the rooms or service and were all smiles.

The room came with breakfast, and each person could choose one of four sets. Vegetarians can pick Set 3 or 4. The food area could be cleaner, though, as some tables were sticky and dusty. I’d bring a wet tissue to wipe them. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed and pillow were comfortable, and it had a homestay feel. They gave us two water bottles each day, plus tissue, towels, shampoo sachets and mini soap bars. No hair dryer, which wasn’t an issue for us. There are a few 7-11 stores and halal restaurants nearby. A 10-15 minute walk gets you to more restaurants and a shopping center. Krabi Town Night Market runs Friday to Sunday and closes at 10 pm. Grab, Bolt and inDrive are easy to get in the area.
