Paying extra to move to a sea view room higher up made a huge difference. That room felt modern, clean and luxurious, and the view was great. Our original standard room lower down, without a sea view, seemed old, run down and nothing like the photos. It felt so unpleasant and unclean that we were already searching for another place. It’s hard to believe two rooms in the same hotel could be this different. I’d strongly suggest booking one of the higher sea view rooms.

The balcony view is breathtaking, and the welcoming staff made the stay. A golf cart shuttle to the room was a big help. The location is great, close to everything in Ao Nang but tucked away from the noise. The room itself felt dark and bare, with a strange layout, gloomy bathroom, and little room to store luggage. Come for the view and the staff.

The location is the real plus, a 5/5. The main pool up top is lovely and has a stunning view, but the sunbeds at both pools didn’t look like the pictures, and the toilets near reception and the pool were poor and smelly. We stayed three nights by the smaller pool. Our clean room was basic and old-fashioned, and the French door felt flimsy. Its lock screw was hanging out and the safe didn’t work. Staff responded quickly and sent maintenance when I reported it, though I still didn’t feel comfortable with that door. The staff were lovely, but seemed overwhelmed. At check-in nobody explained hotel facilities or opening times. For what we paid, and what you can get for the money in Thailand, we were disappointed. Unless you’re paying for a top room with the view, your own bath, and the main pool right in front, I’d look at other options.

The ocean view from our room was surreal, and the resort is very close to Ao Nang beach. The staff, especially at reception, could be better. Check-in was very late, around 3 PM. At checkout they took 300 baht from our deposit for a missing slipper, though we’re pretty sure we’d left it in the room.
