Peak Boutique City Hotel

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel runs a town shuttle every two hours, which was handy. We still had a good stay, and I appreciate that the hotel eventually took responsibility for a problem. We'd booked a motorbike ahead of time and clearly confirmed the arrangement, but none was available in the morning. That threw off our plans and was frustrating. Communication in English can be difficult, and at the time it didn't feel like much effort was being made to find a solution. After we brought it up again later, the hotel apologized and offered compensation, which seemed fair. Clearer communication and more help finding a solution in situations like this would improve the experience.

For a budget stay, this is a cute little three-star hotel in Krabi Town. It's in a small building on a street full of restaurants, and you can walk to places to eat even at night. We felt safe, and there are good food options nearby. Tourist attractions and markets are well located from here too. Our Bolt rides cost under 200 baht and took no more than 30 minutes in light traffic. You get good value for the price. The staff are sweet and polite, but the language barrier is significant. It was hard to communicate, so they'd call someone, maybe the owner or manager, to help. They kindly let us check in early at noon without an extra charge. We booked a Superior Double room. It was spacious, with two double beds and a large balcony, though there were no chairs or table outside. The bed felt a little hard, but I adjusted by the second night. The bathroom was okay. There was no shower gel or shampoo, just a small hand soap, replaced daily during housekeeping. The room had a hair dryer and bar fridge, which was useful for leftovers. They also left two glasses and two bottles of water each day, even when we hadn't finished the previous day's bottles. There was no microwave or kettle, as the Bookings.com app listing honestly said. You can borrow an iron and ask reception to reheat food. There's also a self-serve coffee station at reception. The wardrobe needs shelves and more hangers to be practical. Reception sells snacks and drinks at good prices, about 20-25 baht for local chips or a 300ml Sprite or iced tea.

Clean and comfortable, with a handy location near restaurants, Lotus, and 7-11. I'd definitely come back.

Service was poor. They were reluctant to give us towels and charged us an extra checkout fee when heavy rain had left us stuck somewhere. After we'd stayed a couple of nights, there was no consideration at all. I found them very focused on money, which doesn't match what I'd normally expect from Thai people. I won't stay again. Please avoid this place.
