It’s a peaceful, calm place, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They let us check in as early as 7 AM, which was really useful. Phuhi Hotel is close to Tiger Cave Temple, though the main beach areas are a long way off. 🌿

The people working here were so sweet, and the views are lovely. I spent an amazing week at the hotel while it rained nonstop, working online and studying at the school next door. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to do that. Highly recommend. 😍💕

I stayed for a week in February and found the rooms spacious and clean, with the whole hotel kept in very good shape. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The cleaning team were exceptional. There’s no restaurant at the hotel, but plenty nearby. I’d recommend staying here, and hope they keep up these standards. Nowhere’s perfect, so I’d give it four stars rather than five.

There isn’t much around besides Tiger Cave Temple, which is about a 20-minute walk away, but there’s some cheap Thai street food nearby for 20 THB. You can get around by Grab or motorbike. The rooms are large and have AC, though there are no mosquito nets, so keep the windows shut. The hotel only takes cash, and the staff understand little English, so you’re mostly on your own. For an early flight, a cab costs 500 THB and Grab is around 400 THB. There’s no public transport before 8.00 am.

The staff are nice, but the aircon and fridge are loud, the walls are thin, and the doors squeak. Avoid it if you need a good night’s sleep.
