O Yes Hostel is a comfortable, practical base for exploring Krabi and the surrounding area. It isn't a party place, so I'd recommend it to travelers who aren't looking to go out partying every night. Rooms have air conditioning, and Wi-Fi is free, as is usually the case at hostels in Thailand. It's conveniently near the bus station and shops with basic supplies, including 7Elevens. The hostel is clean, and the family running it are friendly and helpful. There are laundry machines and dryers, lockers, and a small kitchen. The owners cook inexpensive basic meals such as fried rice and egg. There's also a TV with a DVD player and some DVDs. A friend in our group asked if we could connect the TV to the internet, and the owner let us watch YouTube during our free time between activities and travel. They also have two scooters for rent, so you don't need to search around town. We'd rented scooters all over Thailand, and these were perfectly fine.

It's a little outside Krabi town, though still close to sights like Khao khanab nam and tiger temple. The owners were so hospitable that they drove us around the city late at night so we could get a thai massage, and arranged all our tourist activities. The hostel is cheap, the rooms are spacious and nice, and each has an attached balcony. There's a lounge with a big TV and movies, plus a really pretty terrace where you can relax. One of the best hostels you can get in krabi, for more than one reason.

It was pretty quiet, and I bet that's because we were there in low season. The staff were friendly, though the hostel itself was basic and the location wasn't the best. If you're thinking of staying here because it's close to the airport, transport costs the same as from town.
