Sripet Hotel

For a few days as a stopover, this place was fine for the price. The staff were friendly, and the spacious rooms looked like the photos, so I can't really complain about the value. The area doesn't offer much, though, and the resort sits right across from a graveyard. If you're staying in Krabi longer, I probably wouldn't recommend it. For a short stay, it'll do.

We stayed one night after flying into krabi. Nothing fancy, but decent enough for a cheap short stay.

We ended up buying our own pillows and sheets because the bedding was badly stained, worn out, and gross. The place felt so dirty that we wiped everything down with antiseptic wipes before using it. There were flies everywhere, barbed wire outside our window, and broken drinking glasses in the room. It looked nothing like the website photos. The air conditioning broke halfway through our stay, so it got really hot. Our room wasn't cleaned either. When we asked, we got an angry reply that we had to request it every day. Even though cleaning is advertised, the bins, towels, and room aren't taken care of unless you ask. You can hear absolutely everything the neighbors are doing. Buyer beware!

I liked the location, with a street market about a 20-minute walk away. Krabi town feels more homey to me, and food there costs a lot less. For $20 a night, the resort was about what you'd expect. The bed was hard, pretty much my only complaint. Bring your own toilet paper and hair products, since they don't provide them. I'd stay again.
