We ended up staying five nights, and the place served its purpose. At 500bh a night, we got a basic room of decent size. It was easy to get into town and to Tiger Cave by Grab. After two weeks travelling north to south in Thailand, though, we’d paid about 500bah on average for much better accommodation, all with fridges. A few changes would make a longer stay more comfortable: provide clean towels and fresh water daily, change the bed linen after two or three days, and clean the bathroom mirror more thoroughly. The walls had damp and peeling paint, and the windows rattled and made odd noises. Please check in on guests now and then, especially when they’re staying for five nights. Also, we needed an extra blanket on a cold evening because the cover provided wasn’t enough for two people, but were charged for it. A fridge in the room would be worth considering too.
