The Chill at Krabi Hotel

It’s a new, sweet hotel with a nice pool and very friendly, helpful staff. My only issue was the location, a bit far from ao Nang. With a bike, though, it’s no problem, about a 20-minute ride. Perfect hotel.

The area is very quiet, and the nearest 7-11 is a kilometer away, so you’ll need a vehicle to go out. If that works for you, I’d recommend the hotel. The facilities and amenities were top-notch, and the staff were very helpful. We couldn’t try the restaurant menu because it was closed while the chef was away.

It’s a comfortable, peaceful place with genuinely good service, and renting a bike there is convenient. Ao Nang is around 20-30 minutes away, so getting around may take more time than you expect each day. Still, it’s a good budget option. I’d choose a swimming-pool view over a garden view.

The female reception staff were warm and welcoming, which is why I first thought I’d give this hotel five stars. But during our early checkout, a male receptionist came over just minutes after we left the room for breakfast and said a towel was missing. He hadn’t properly checked the room. I explained where the towels were, and he went away. It wasn’t really about the towel. Being assumed at fault without a proper check felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, and it changed how I felt about the hotel.
